Facebook Messenger for Windows is an application that lets you chat with your Facebook Friends without the need to go to the Facebook. In addition, this application also shows you the latest updates from your friends in ticker and gives you quick notifications about what’s happening on your Facebook profile.

It is easy to chat with multiple friends using Facebook Messenger since it uses tabbed chat interface. However, this application do not support group chat yet and the video calling as well.

Currently, Facebook Messenger is on trial mode and it only supports Windows 7. You may give it a try for feedback.
